I’m as much an Apple fanboy as anyone. Almost.
However, these kinds of stories totally do not appeal to me. It’s mostly a personality thing. I’d rather wait till the product is launched. Then I’m all over it. Then I love to see all the new features.
Why do the future product stories not appeal to me? Because the new features may or may not appear. Why should I get excited about underwater filming capabilities when that ended up being simply a rumor?
(I admit that this screen shot is not directly applicable to my point, but you get what I’m saying.)
I thought this was simply bizarre.
(This ad appeared in a Nairobi, Kenya newspaper, in about 2005, when we were living there.)
The boat was almost bigger than the house.
(I shot it with my previous cell phone’s crappy camera, in a neighborhood not far from where we live.)
Bad logo of the week.
(No further comment.)
Some things should never be combined.
I saw this post in my Google News feed today. It’s a real illustration of how Google is truly pushing the Google+ stuff into search rankings. The posting guy, Jason Boog, has just 854 followers on Google+ … and his story made it to the listof news stories on social media in my feed, though the story is just purely a pitch for his company’s seminar.
Blaaah.
It’s always a sad thing when a tube of toothpaste gets to this point.
Just a little suspect… “A Social Media Maven,” and she hasn’t sent out a single tweet?!
Sometimes I wonder…
I need to remind myself of this sometimes.
