I always thought Truckee was a strange name for a town. (For those of you who don’t know, it’s in California.)
The front of the new Ford Fusion bears a remarkable resemblance to relatively recent Aston Martins. (See post just below.)
The Fusion photo: Edmunds.
The Aston Martin, from Automobile Magazine.
Just love this photo, for some reason.
I found it at: http://nonclickable.tumblr.com/ - and I have no idea where they found it. To the photographer - please stand up and let us give you credit.
It appears that all Japanese luxury car brands are moving toward the pinched-grille look.

It’s so easy to be down on Walmart. But they did a great thing, not long ago… notice the words at the bottom: “Continued on back…”
This was one of the smaller receipts I’ve received in the last year. Think of how many thousands of trees they prevented from being harvested. Also consider the hundreds of gallons of fuel they saved in transporting millions of rolls of paper to stores across the USA.
I’m as much an Apple fanboy as anyone. Almost.
However, these kinds of stories totally do not appeal to me. It’s mostly a personality thing. I’d rather wait till the product is launched. Then I’m all over it. Then I love to see all the new features.
Why do the future product stories not appeal to me? Because the new features may or may not appear. Why should I get excited about underwater filming capabilities when that ended up being simply a rumor?
(I admit that this screen shot is not directly applicable to my point, but you get what I’m saying.)
I thought this was simply bizarre.
(This ad appeared in a Nairobi, Kenya newspaper, in about 2005, when we were living there.)
The boat was almost bigger than the house.
(I shot it with my previous cell phone’s crappy camera, in a neighborhood not far from where we live.)
